The 16th Creative December was inaugurated on December 7, 2020, at the Shenzhen Museum of Contemporary Art and Urban Planning (MoCAUP).
By showcasing a host of creative designs, the event sets to inspire citizens’ passion for creativity, promote the industry’s growth, and enhance the city’s overall development as a “City of Design”.

In light of this opportunity, the 2020 award ceremony
of ten Young Design Professionals in Shenzhen by the Dragon Design Foundation (DDF) Award was held. Wu Yihuan, Vice Mayor of Shenzhen, and Ren Kelei, Chair of Shenzhen Industrial Design Profession Association (SIDA), presented the awards to the winners. The DDF Award, set up in 2005, is the first cross-sector, not-for-profit award

in the design industry in China. The ten Young Design Professionals in Shenzhen in 2020 are: Li Bo (General Manager of Shenzhen Romoss Technology); Xu Erjian (Design Director of Shenzhen TTF High Jewellery); Du Heng (Founder/Managing Director, Design Director of Zheng Shufen Interior Design (Shenzhen)); Shangguan Zhangshu (Design Manager of BYD Auto Industry); Wang Sujuan (Founder and CEO of KWCW); Li Yuanwei (General Manager of Shenzhen Dongxiang Design); Liu Xiangcheng (President of Shenzhen Skyworth – RGB Electronics Industrial Design Institute); Yang Zhe (Brand Manager and Creative Director of Shenzhen Yangzi Fashion Design Co., Ltd.), Deng Yuanjian (Founder and Creative Director of Shenzhen UNDESIGN), and Chen Ke (President of Shenzhen LOOK Creative and Brand Founder of SUFOR-U of Shenzhen Chuangyijia Technology).
